Biden holds Trump responsible for the deteriorating Republican backing of the border security agreement.

President Biden is urging Congress to pass a national security supplemental bill that would provide funding for Ukraine, Israel, and border security. However, the deal is facing opposition from both House and Senate Republicans, with some citing pressure from former President Trump as the reason for their opposition. In a speech at the White House, President Biden called out Trump for trying to sabotage the deal for political gain and urged Republicans to show courage and do what is right for the American people. He emphasized the need for a solution to the border issue and stated that doing nothing is not an option. The president also warned that he will make Republican opposition to the bill a campaign issue leading up to the November elections.
