Study Details:
The study, conducted by Vertex Pharmaceuticals, aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of their non-opioid drug in relieving pain. The drug, known as VX-150, works by targeting a specific protein in the body that is involved in pain signaling. The study involved 500 participants who were experiencing moderate to severe pain. They were divided into two groups, with one group receiving VX-150 and the other receiving Vicodin.
