The Pentagon has disclosed the identities of three servicemen who died in a drone strike in Jordan.

The Pentagon has released the names of the three American service members who were killed in a drone strike on a base in northeast Jordan on Sunday. The victims were identified as Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, and Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, all from Georgia. The attack, which occurred when an unmanned aerial drone impacted their living quarters, is believed to have been carried out by an Iranian-backed militia. The U.S. is currently investigating the incident and has not yet determined a response. The attack, which took place at an outpost known as Tower 22, also left over 40 service members injured. The Pentagon has stated that the number of injured has increased from the initial report of 34. The victims’ families have released statements mourning the loss of their loved ones and honoring their service to the country.
